Where we are
The
Ancient Country house Madonna del Giglio is placed in the territory of the
town of Bolsena, few meters far from the city-centre and along the old road
that leads from Bolsena to Orvieto.
Who comes from the Road Cassia SS2/SR2, will have to catch up the city
of Bolsena at km. 110.
Who comes from the Highway A1 (Florence - Rome), will have to exit at the
tollgate of Orvieto and follow the indications to reach Montefiascone/Bolsena,
taking the Umbro Casentinese Road SS71/SR71. After about 12Km, in the whereabouts
of "Biagio", turn right on the county road SP13 till reaching
Bolsena.
At the traffic light of Via Gramsci and Piazza Matteotti, turn or go ahead
on the Road Cassia SS2/SR2 in direction for Montefiascone and turn left
after 200 meters in Largo Salvo d'Acquisto, from here turn left for Via
4 Novembre, at the traffic light go ahead for Via di porta Romana, and turn
right toward piazza S. Cristina.
Continue on Via Madonna del Giglio till the crossroad with Strada Ponte
del Diavolo e Strada della Scarpellinata.
